Performing from Rosie (their very own world-travelling, traditional painted gypsy show-wago) and work-shopping in the beautiful Raj pavilion, the Flying Seagulls mix of showmanship and family fun will have everyone entertained, amused and inspired all weekend. The Flying Seagulls create an unforgettable experience for all they meet, a truly magical kids’ area is awaiting you this summer.
The festival menu is served up by their experienced and uniquely insane team of clowns and entertainers. With high energy music jams, outrageous circus sessions, and the knee trembling Highwire Challenge, it’s a roller coaster of total ‘round-the-bend-ness’.
The Flying Seagull Project is operated by a group of young actors, artists, musicians and the enthusiastic, determined to make a difference. They travel across Romania and Cambodia visiting disadvantaged children, the elderly, adults with difficulties, and marginalized groups of society.
Using their skills and training, they organize workshops and shows designed to help childhood development, improve emotional wellbeing and give support through laughter. “Fun therapy” is the concept; it’s not scientific, or a new-fangled medical term, it simply means that they like to have fun and afterwards, everyone feels better. And they’ve developed their own, feel-good technique to spread their warmth across Wilderness this year…
