Terms and Conditions Of Sale
The Terms and Conditions set out below are primarily designed to ensure the safety and well-being of guests attending the Event and to create the best Wilderness possible for everyone attending:
Wilderness Festival Limited ('the Promoter') promotes Wilderness ('the Event') and attendance is subject to acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
- Right of admission is reserved (R.O.A.R). In particular, the Promoter reserves the right to remove persons from the site for any reason including, without limitation, behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the Promoter or its representatives staffing the Event. The Promoter and its security personnel may conduct random searches in order to safeguard the security of guests at the Event;
- There is no admission without a valid ticket, this is a licensing condition - so please keep it safe and don't lose it!
- Searching is a condition of entry to the Event. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission or ejected from the Event site and may also be liable for prosecution. Any items found that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated.
- This event takes place in a rural location, please bring appropriate footwear and clothing;
- Possession of a ticket or a wristband to the Event constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions;
- This Event is open to all people but some areas may be difficult to access in a wheelchair in the event of rain;
- The organisers reserve the right to change the bill or any other aspect of the Event without prior notification;
- Tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable under any circumstances;
- In the event of cancellation of the Event only the face value of the ticket will be refunded;
- The event site is a glass free zone;
- Food and drink (whether alcoholic or not) cannot be brought on to the Event Arena;
- The alcohol policy will be announced in early 2012;
- Please note that prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage;
- The organisers of Wilderness Festival may record the Event via video, photograph or any other recordable media. Your purchase of a ticket and your attendance at the Event shall constitute your approval for inclusion within the filming (whether video or photographic) and audio recording and your approval and permission for the Organisers to make full use of the recordings and the footage taken without any recourse to you;
- Price information and ticket availability is subject to change without notice;
- No personal sound systems will be permitted on the event site;
- Tickets should be retained throughout the event and wristbands will need to be worn on ALL days and must not be removed or else you will not be permitted entry to the event;
- Children under 12 are allowed in free to the Event. However, proof of identity and age must be provided on request at the admissions gate. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission if its staff or agents are in any doubt whatsoever as to the age of the person being presented as being Under 12. A maximum of 4 under 12's per adult will be allowed entry and all Children under 16 must be in possession of a ticket and accompanied by an adult;
- The promoter reserves the right to change the line up at any time without notification and without refund of monies or exchange of bookings;
- The Event operates licensed bars and you need to be over the age of 18 to purchase alcohol on site. You may be asked to produce proof of age and if you are unable to do so you will not be served alcohol;
- No animals will be permitted entry to the site with the exception of dogs assisting the visually or aurally impaired;
- Fireworks, smoke canisters, flares, lasers, offensive weapons or other similar articles are not permitted within the site and any person in possession of such articles may be refused entry, ejected and/or arrested. No open-air fires in the camp sites, management will provide supervised fire pits. Items with an open flame (e.g. candles, tin barbeques, gas/paraffin lamps etc) are not permitted on the site and will be confiscated on entry. Professional camping stoves are allowed, please use them sensibly;
- PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING - Due to legal artist performance rights and royalty obligations, you cannot bring any video or audio recording equipment or any camera which is over 35mm or with a detachable lens onto the site. You will not be allowed to enter the site if you bring equipment that at the discretion of our security infringes on these rules;
- The tickets purchased are for your own personal use only and may not be transferred or re-sold to any other person or body under any circumstances or used as part of any promotion or competition or for commercial gain;
- Where there has been any re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect and refuse admission to the concert using that ticket;
- Anyone found in possession of drugs at the event will be ejected from the site and not permitted to re-enter.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, FROM TIME TO TIME IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU OF AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BY POSTING THEM TO THIS WEBSITE.
