Our volunteers are instrumental in making Wilderness into what it is and we would love to have you join us. We offer loads of different volunteering opportunities, across all our departments and all of them give you amazing first hand experience of what it’s like to work on a festival. You will be required to pay a deposit of £150 via PayPal that will be refunded upon completion of all your shifts.
Liaising with performers and crew on arrival to offer directions and advice.
Assisting the Programming Team with various tasks across the festival venues, including but not limited to, backstage work, stage resets, artist riders and artist liaison.
Info Tent Staff
Engaging with people from all aspects of the festival, providing an important directory service and hub for enquiries and gaining in-depth knowledge of the festival as a whole.
Working alongside the Production and Creative Production teams to help build the festival.
Ranging from reception to info and venue staff this is a great role for anyone with an interest in wellbeing and, in particular, large-scale wellbeing events and how they’re organised.
With a line-up as important as our music, get first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver fine-dining to a mass audience, outside the safety of its regular setting.
Perfect for those volunteering as a pair, engaging with festivalgoers selling our programmes across site.
Be A Steward
We partner with Oxfam to provide our stewarding service. As a steward, you’ll be part of a large team representing Wilderness and Oxfam to the festivalgoers. You’ll provide essential roles on site to ensure the festival runs smoothly and the festival-goers are safe.

The Accessibility Team are looking for committed, responsible and focused individuals to join their team and help make sure that all deaf and disabled customers have an enjoyable experience whilst at Wilderness. Team members will get a unique insight into how accessibility is approached and dealt with at large scale music events.
