Create your own spectacular wooden mushroom or wand using beautiful and sustainably sourced British timbers. In this activity you will be peddling an ancient metal lathe that has been adapted to be powered by a bicycle wheel, so the faster you cycle, the faster the lathe turns!

This imaginatively adapted machine has been created by master carpenters who collaborate individually with you in the making of your magical cycle lathed wand or mushroom. The results are spectacular.
