Volunteer Applications for Wilderness Season Ten are now open
What are you waiting for? Apply to join us
Our volunteers are instrumental in making Wilderness into what it is and we would love to have you join us. We offer loads of different volunteering opportunities, across all our departments and all of them give you amazing first hand experience of what it's like to work on a festival. You will be required to pay a deposit of £150 via PayPal that will be refunded upon completion of all your shifts.
Artist Liaison & Gate Greeters
Liaising with artists upon arrival offering directions and advice.
Welcoming artists and festivalgoers, assisting with stage resets, acting as a runner, helping to manage backstage, including riders, and feeding back on any issues or potential improvements to audience enjoyment.
Info Tent Staff
Engaging with people from all aspects of the festival, providing an important directory service and hub for enquiries and gaining in-depth knowledge of the festival as a whole.
Working alongside the Production and Creative Production teams to help build the festival.
Ranging from reception to info and door staff this is a great role for anyone with an interest in wellbeing and, in particular, large-scale wellbeing events and how they’re organised.
With a line-up as important as our music, get first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver fine-dining to a mass audience, outside the safety of its regular setting.
Club House Assistants
For the more confident and outgoing, this role is fast-paced, full on and a lot of fun, offering an excellent opportunity to understand everything involved in running a whole stage and games arena.
Perfect for those volunteering as a pair, engaging with festivalgoers selling our programmes across site.
We partner with Oxfam to provide our stewarding service.
As one of our stewards, you will be part of a large team representing Wilderness and Oxfam to the festival goers.
You'll provide essential roles on site to ensure the festival runs smoothly and the festival-goers are safe.
