Our volunteers are instrumental in making Wilderness into what it is and we would love to have you join us.
We offer loads of different volunteering opportunities, across all our departments and all of them give you amazing first hand experience of what it's like to work on a festival.
Applications will close towards the end of June 2019 and we will respond to all applicants by July 1st 2019.
Please note deposits are non-refundable.
Artist Liaison - liaising with artists upon arrival offering directions and advice.
Venue Assistants - welcoming artists and festivalgoers, assisting with stage resets, acting as a runner, helping to manage backstage, including riders, and feeding back on any issues or potential improvements to audience enjoyment.
Info Tent Staff - engaging with people from all aspects of the festival, providing an important directory service and hub for enquiries and gaining in-depth knowledge of the festival as a whole.
Build & Break Crew - working alongside the Production Manager to help build and dismantle the festival.
Wellbeing Staff - ranging from reception to info and door staff this is a great role for anyone with an interest in wellbeing and, in particular, large-scale wellbeing events and how they’re organised.
Feasting & Dining Staff -with a line-up as important as our music, students would get first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver fine-dining to a mass audience, outside the safety of its regular setting.
Club House Assistants - for the more confident and outgoing, this role is fast-paced, full on and a lot of fun, offering an excellent opportunity to understand everything involved in running a whole stage and games arena.
Programme Sellers - perfect for those volunteering as a pair, engaging with festivalgoers selling our programmes across site.
Boutique Staff - assisting in the Boutique Camping area with information and concierge services.
We partner with Oxfam to provide our stewarding service.
As one of our stewards, you will be part of a large team representing Wilderness and Oxfam to the festival goers.
You'll provide essential roles on site to ensure the festival runs smoothly and the festival-goers are safe.

We don’t accept direct band applications to play at Wilderness. We work with a network of trusted partners who source new music for us, and we work with them to uncover new talent from all corners of the UK and beyond.
