Our volunteers are instrumental in making Wilderness into what it is and we would love to have you join us.

We offer loads of different volunteering opportunities, across all our departments and all of them give you amazing first hand experience of what it's like to work on a festival.

Apply to join us as a Volunteer at Wilderness 2019.

You will be required to pay a deposit of £150 via PayPal that will be refunded upon completion of all your shifts.

Applications are officially closed as the deadline for paying your deposit has already passed. However, we are still accepting applications from those who are able to pay their deposit immediately (or by 15th July at the absolute latest).

Volunteer Roles

Artist Liaison - liaising with artists upon arrival offering directions and advice.

Venue Assistants - welcoming artists and festivalgoers, assisting with stage resets, acting as a runner, helping to manage backstage, including riders, and feeding back on any issues or potential improvements to audience enjoyment.

Info Tent Staff - engaging with people from all aspects of the festival, providing an important directory service and hub for enquiries and gaining in-depth knowledge of the festival as a whole.

Build & Break Crew - working alongside the Production Manager to help build and dismantle the festival.

Wellbeing Staff - ranging from reception to info and door staff this is a great role for anyone with an interest in wellbeing and, in particular, large-scale wellbeing events and how they’re organised.

Feasting & Dining Staff -with a line-up as important as our music, students would get first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver fine-dining to a mass audience, outside the safety of its regular setting.

Club House Assistants - for the more confident and outgoing, this role is fast-paced, full on and a lot of fun, offering an excellent opportunity to understand everything involved in running a whole stage and games arena.

Programme Sellers - perfect for those volunteering as a pair, engaging with festivalgoers selling our programmes across site.

Boutique Staff - assisting in the Boutique Camping area with information and concierge services.
