LOST PROPERTY

DATES & LOCATION

Wilderness takes place on 3rd – 6th August 2017, in the beautiful ancient parkland of Cornbury Park set in Oxfordshire, around a hour and a half from London.

IMPORTANT ARRIVAL INFO – PLEASE READ TO HELP YOU ARRIVE TO THE CORRECT CAMPSITE

  • GENERAL CAMPING – This camp is perched alongside the swimming and boating lakes and is close to the festival arena.

  • FAMILY CAMPING – ONLY CURRENT FAMILY CAMPSITE TICKET-HOLDERS WILL BE ABLE TO CAMP HERE –Download the info pack here: Family Camping. This campsite includes baby changing facilities and family welfare. It is the closest free campsite to the arena.

  • QUIET CAMPING – e ask you to keep the noise down after 22:00 and we advise you not to bring children under the age of 8. Download the info pack here: Quiet Camping
  • BOUTIQUE CAMPING – Please head for the Red Gate as indicated here, and then take the route to Boutique Car Park.
  • MEADOW CAMPING –  Download the info pack here: Meadow Camping

  • No Camping – we understand that camping isn’t for everyone. You are free to come in and out of the festival, but you may only re-enter during gate opening hours – listed below.

GATE TIMES

Thursday: Car Parks open at 10:00, Gates open at 12:00 and the Arena opens at 14:00.

Thursday Gates close 22:00

Friday: Gates open 9:00 – 22:00

Saturday: Gates open 9:00 – 21:00

Sunday: Gates open 10:00 – 21:00

Monday: You are welcome to stay in the campsites until 12:00

Please note you are welcome to leave at any time, but re-entry is only permitted during gate opening hours.

CAR PARKING PASSES

Are only available to buy for £20 on the gate. Please bring cash.

If you have booked a pass online already and you haven’t received it, print your confirmation email and you will be furnished with one on entry.

SHUTTLE BUSES

Shuttle buses to and from Charlbury station will run regularly throughout the day from approximately 10am until the last train each day, Thursday to Monday.

The journey takes 1 hour, although due to traffic in the area could take up to 2 hours.

We do NOT sell Day Tickets. We recommend total four-day immersion into Wilderness.

Car parking is no longer available to buy online. They will be available at the gates when you arrive for the same price of £20. Please bring cash.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Child (0 -5yrs)
Junior (6 – 12yrs)
Teen (13 – 17yrs)

Please bring ID to be sure, as you may be asked to show it. The following forms of ID can be used as proof of age for entering the site:

  • Current Passport
  • Current Uk Driver’s Licence or Provisional Licence
  • VALIDATE UK
  • Citizen Card
  • Oyster Photo Card
  • NUS Card

RESTRICTED ITEMS

Now wild ones, the following are not allowed through (or above) the festival gates:

  • Dogs – as much as we love our 4-legged friends we cannot have them at Wilderness
  • Drones
  • Glass – absolutely no glass is allowed on site for safety reasons.
  • Large stereo systems.
  • Illegal substances.
  • Portable laser equipment and pens.
  • Unauthorised professional film or video equipment.
  • Audio recorders.
  • Air Horns.
  • Fireworks, flares or Chinese Lanterns.
  • Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon.
  • Animals (other than registered guide or hearing dogs)
  • Gas Canisters
    • General/Quiet/Family Campsites: gas canisters under 450g or rechargeable canisters over 2.75kg. No more than 2 disposables or 1 rechargeable canister. Supplies in excess of this should be returned to the customers vehicle.
    • Live-in Vehicle Campsite: Propane or Butane cylinders over 7kg. No more than 1 cylinder per vehicle. Supplies in excess of this should be returned to the customers vehicle.
  • Nitros Oxide
  • Petrol Burner
  • Any form of aerosol over 250ml
  • Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol.ALCOHOL: You may bring the following to be consumed in the campsite:

    EITHER: 12 cans beer / lager / cider / pre-mixed drinks including G&Ts & Pimms per person

    OR: 6 cans and 1 bottle of wine (decanted into a plastic bottle) per person. You may only bring this in on first entry only. Strictly no spirits or hard liquor. Please note, searches will be undertaken upon entry to ensure this is complied with. If you leave the site, upon re-admittance you may be searched again ­ any alcohol above this allocation will be confiscated. This alcohol may only be consumed in the campsite.

LOCKERS and PHONE CHARGING

To help keep your belongings safe at Wilderness we have a selection of secure lockers in the Family and General Campsites for your valuables, to give you peace of mind. You can book your lockers here.

There are lockers available to hire on site in the General and Family campsites with mobile phone charging facilities. Please note, you will need to bring a 12v in-car charger (not USB). Access is 24 hours and members of staff are around at appointed times to assist you should you need any help.

ACTIVITIES

Activities can be booked on site – all bookings can be made at the Information Tent (subject to availability), or if it’s a Wellbeing experience, please head to The Sanctuary Reception.

When you booked your activity, you will have received a booking confirmation email, which acts as your ticket. Please bring your booking confirmation, along with ID to prove you are the named booker.

CAMPSITES

Your wristband does not allow you access to any campsite except your own. The wristband you wear is where your home is. If you want to meet your friends, then head into the arena. You can switch your campsites if necessary. You need to head to the box office of the campsite you want to switch to. Subject to availability.

ACCESS TO VEHICLES

You can head to your vehicle as many times as you like. However, you can only bring alcohol in on the first trip.

CAMPING ESSENTIALS

There will be a stall on site where you will be able to purchase essentials: bread, milk, eggs, tea and so on.

PROGRAMME

The full programme will be available to buy at the festival when you arrive. Look out for our trusty programme sellers on entry or at the Information Tent, main entrances from campsites (general/quiet/meadow) and the entrance to the arenas.

LOST PROPERTY

All items handed in will be taken to the Information Tent, so please enquire there. However, we will need proof that the item is yours.
