Hailing from the plains and hills of the wild Cotswolds, 1000 Mile Highway were formed in early 2009 and quickly put together a set of American roots music, country and country rock that immediately won them a massive fan base which now numbers in the 10's!! Since then, the band have played many festivals including Wilderness, Cornbury, Riverside, The Skittle Alley Weekender, Nor Lye and Witney Music Festival, bringing americana to the masses.

We are delighted to be included in the line-up for Wilderness 2023, not least because that meant we have performed at every Wilderness Festival! In that time, we have played in Yurts, a caravan and on several different stages. But being back as part of the Cut a Shine takeover of The Smudge is special as most of our performances were on the Travelling Folk Barn Stage and it feels like our musical home.
