Marc is often found hanging out in the air as he teaches a relatively new, wonderful and unique form of Aerial Yoga known by some as Yoga Trapeze. He began his yoga journey in 2012 when he started to practice regularly a style of yoga known as Iyengar, which has a big focus on alignment and actively holding poses for prolonged periods of time understand them better. Having that as a foundation he began to also try other types of yoga and finally discovered Aerial Yoga in 2013.
What you can expect
Poses & Fun tricks suitable for all levels of experience to try!
Build a Strong Core
Develop Upper Body Strength
Relieve Back Pain & Gain Better Spinal Health
This type of Aerial Yoga also known as Yoga Trapeze is a fun and at times relaxing experience that will challenge you in new ways. Aerial Yoga adds in that missing “pull” motion lacking in a mat-based practice and the device itself with its side handles and straps are useful tools for obtaining correct alignment in poses, functional strength and better balance. A key element of the practice is the ability to perform gravity defying yoga inversions with ease without back or neck compression. For students with muscle tension, back pain, poor flexibility and weak core muscle, this practice offers a remarkable way to experience a real positive transformation as well as improving joint mobility & circulation over time. However, by the end of the session at least you may even start to feel its benefits within your body almost instantly especially in the shoulders, back/neck, joints and muscles with sensations likened to that of a massage.
