Founder of Social Pantry, Alex Head, and head chef, Sarah Turner, will be hosting Thursday evening at Wilderness Kitchen, bringing their fresh, seasonal, local approach to stylish and sustainable catering to the table.

Alex Head trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School and gained experience in many professional kitchens including 2 Michelin star restaurant Bibendum, before founding Social Pantry in 2011. It has since become the go-to caterer for bespoke events with clients including Rihanna, David Attenborough, Hilary Clinton and many more. Social Pantry is widely recognised for its forward-thinking approach to both social and environmental responsibility as the hospitality industry leader in ex-offender employment and striving to become the first zero-waste catering company. Alex has received multiple awards and nominations for the impact she has made within hospitality.
Sarah Turner joined Social Pantry in 2018 and has ascended to Head Chef, focusing on developing innovative, closed-loop menus at the forefront of emerging food trends and sustainability. Sarah has completed stages at Silo – London’s first zero-waste restaurant – and zero-waste restaurant Nolla in Helsinki, which has informed the high-end approach to zero-waste dining that Social Pantry is best known for.
