AngloThai marries traditional Thai recipes with seasonal British ingredients, complemented with a low-intervention wine program. John Chantarasak (co-founder, along with his wife Desiree) is of half British and half Thai heritage, drawing influences from both cuisines when creating dishes. He’s a wealth of experience cooking throughout the UK and SE Asia, most notably at acclaimed Thai restaurants, Som Saa in London and Nahm in Bangkok. He’s appeared on the Great British Menu representing his home region of Wales and has been twice shortlisted as ‘Chef of the Year’ by the Young British Foodie Awards.
