We’re blink mental health, and our vision is simple: we want to see hundreds of thousands more people receive rapid, appropriate, and effective mental health support.
- We increase accessibility to mental health support by ensuring financial barriers are not a limitation.
- We provide personalised support at the time it is needed, not limited by waiting lists.
- We integrate discussion of mental health into people’s lives by creating supportive and inclusive spaces at events and festivals across the UK, where people can be heard, connect with others, and reconnect with themselves.
Our ultimate aim is to open the blink bank, a bank of both money from our supporters, and time donated by mental health professionals. This will mean we can provide free or low-cost therapy to people who would not be able to access it otherwise.
What we are doing at Wilderness 2023?
At Wilderness our wellbeing tents will provide a safe space to talk, a place to relax and rest, and mindfulness activities. We will be offering 1:1 talking therapy sessions with our team of qualified psychologists and counsellors. These are free and accessible to anyone during the festival, regardless of what you want to talk about!
Many of our volunteers joining us at Wilderness 2023 have lived experience of mental health support. Pop by and join us if you’d like to have a chat, see a friendly face, or simply take some time out alone. We’ll look forward to meeting you soon.
To donate, volunteer, access our services, or find out how else to get involved, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you: www.blinkmentalhealth.org.uk
