Jude Kereama joins Woodfired Canteen on Friday to serve up Ben Quinn’s weekend menu of long table dining delights.

Jude Kereama is chef owner of the renowned Porthleven restaurant Kota (which means ‘shellfish’ in Maori) and Kota Kai. A stalwart of the Cornish food scene, Kota is set in a 300 year old building, right on the harbour front of the historic village of Porthleven. Jude draws on his half Maori, half Chinese Malay roots to work his culinary magic on the best local produce, with a signature Asian twist. He was a favourite on this year’s Great British Menu and was named ‘Chef of the Year’ in the 2019 Trencherman’s Guide Awards. Kota lists a whole host of accolades – 3 AA rosettes, a Michelin Bib Gourmand, ‘Restaurant of the Year’ in the Cornwall Life Food & Drink Awards and one of The Telegraph’s Top 50 Summer Restaurants in Britain.
