Cornwall’s Woodfired Canteen return to host not just our Opening Night Banquet, but a feasting extravaganza for the Wilderness weekend. This year, Ben Quinn and his team are bringing a delightful selection of chefs from across the country to cook with them.

Starting with David Carter. No stranger to Wilderness, David’s Smokestak has been a favourite of the Dining Room for the past few years. Now with two hugely successful London restaurants under his belt, he’s partnering up with Ben for a delicious family friendly feast to open the show. For the rest of the weekend the spotlight is on food outside of London, with the same menu served every day. Chefs from Cornwall to Scotland will cook great food over live fire and serve it as long table extravaganzas. On Friday you’ll catch Porthleven’s Jude Kereama manning the BBQs, Saturday sees Roberta Hall-McCarron join us from The Little Chartroom in Edinburgh, while on Sunday Chef’s Table favourite Tim Spedding returns to Wilderness alongside his partner Louise Rødkjær.
