Lolo Lam is passionate about Yin Yoga’s ability to help our bodies release on a deep and emotional level. With longer holds, (3-5 minutes) Yin asanas promote stretching of our connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine) shift samskaras (held emotional and physical patters, stored in nadis around the hip area) and releases deep layers of facia. Great for the ‘very tight’ student! Enjoy a guided Yoga Nidra meditation at the end of class. Yoga Nidra brings you into a state of conscious sleep, unwinds the nervous system and induces complete physical and mental relaxation. This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
