Your Stay

Your Stay at Wilderness

You’ll be staying four days with us we hope, so it’s important that you are settled in a suitable habitat. Sleeping under canvas is part of the experience. This is a journey away from civilisation and city life: a chance to be immersed in nature and to sleep in the ancient surrounds of Cornbury Park.

The park

The real jewel in Wilderness’ crown is Cornbury park itself: enduring beauty encircled by a ribbon of ornamental lakes. Your walk from campsite to festival each day leads you under the most majestic of trees, tracing the edges of the lake or past the waterfall. You are invited to explore and enjoy the park: it’s as much part of the show as the music, arts or revelry.

Our campsites

When you book your festival tickets, we ask you to choose a campsite… A beginners guide to their characters:

General: This is our most popular campsite. Rolling parkland, long grass, gnarled oak trees perched on top of the lakes: it’s beautiful and it’s yours for four days.
Quiet: Quiet Camping is for those who want a little peace and quiet, for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle with like-minded, peace-loving souls.
Family: This is the catering for families. It’s close to the site (and specifically the Kid’s Corner) so little legs aren’t too over-worked and benefits from baby changing facilities and family welfare.
Live-In Vehicle: The campsite for van-dwellers and those bringing campers. Please note there are no power or water hook-ups within this campsite.
Boutique:
For those who want a little luxury, choose from a range of accommodation options with sumptuous bedding and soft furnishings – plus luxury showers & toilets, dedicated restaurant & bar, private parking and more.
Meadow: In the Meadow Camping campsite all you need do is arrive ready to enjoy the festival. Your team’s tent will already be set up for you, so no faffing around with tent poles, or rummaging for lost pegs. Your tent will be ready to go – you just need to bring your bedding.
