'Dancing Tales': watch the old circus ringmaster as he tells tales of acrobats, dancing bears and magical imps... master showman Tony Lidington (AKA Uncle Tacko!) presents a series of stories featuring dance by simple, mechanical puppets. A 30-minute show suitable for all the family (aged 6+).
Puppetry workshop: explore the way that puppets operate and a chance to make a simple puppet of your own (aged 6+)
'Cedric & Sally' - the saucy seagulls: a walkabout duo who alert folk to keeping their chips covered and putting litter in bins...in between squirting people with water!
'Uncle Tacko's Flea Circus': Uncle Tacko is itching to show you his international troupe of personally trained fleas... gasp in amazement as mighty Hercu-Fleas pulls a golden chariot around the circus ring, gaze in wonder at Madam Flea-Flea’s daring leaps on her flying trapeze and watch Russian acrobat – Olga Ivanitch, plus many more tiny feats of astonishment.
'Captain Ginger' & 'Rattus' with Uncle Tacklo & Spike Bones: a cheeky monkey and a rascally rat are firm festival favourites for their banter and endearing personality.
