LA PATRI is a Spanish singer-songwriter based in London, blending both English and Spanish lyrics to tell her stories. Drawing inspiration from Neo Soul, Latin Jazz and Spanish folklore, her sound is deeply influenced by artists like Rita Payés, Nathy Peluso, Natalia Lafourcade, Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse.

Her music is a soulful fusion of cultures, a form of personal revolution and empowerment, with themes centered around love, women and society. In 2020, she released her first EP "Brujas que nacen" and formed her band with talented musicians from the UK Jazz scene, including Ayo Salawu (KOKOROKO), Queen Kaltoum (Crystal Fighters), Asaph Kolakale (Jerome Thomas), Grifton Forbes-Amos and Tjoe Man Cheung (Elmiene). This collaboration allowed her to create a unique sound, blending her Spanish heritage with a jazz-latin twist. Her upcoming EP reflects this journey.

In 2023, LA PATRI became the host and event producer of “Peng Femme Jam”, a celebrated safe space for women and non-binary people in London. Her live performances have graced venues and festivals across London and Spain, including Sofar Sounds, Chaka Khan’s Meltdown, Montreux Jazz Festival at Southbank Centre, We Out Here and Lambeth Country Show Festival.

In 2025 she performed for La Linea Festival at Oslo Hackney, supporting Muerdo. and at The Jazz Cafe opening for LAS MIGAS.
