Molly Pop

Set time to be announced

Molly-Pop first started DJing before the wheel was invented (okay, about 15 years ago) in London's Soho alongside Regal (The Wiseguys) and Richard Sen (Bronx Dogs). Back then she didn't even own a pair of decks, buying records on a Friday and hearing them for the very first time while playing them to a packed dancefloor on the Saturday night. Safe to say, Molly learnt to use the fader pretty quickly.

Since then she's become a familiar face behind the decks in Brighton and beyond, with regular appearances at venues including the Black Lion, Bohemia, Fortune of War, The Fiddler's Elbow, The Marlborough, The North Laine, Coalition, The Three & Ten, The Monty and London's Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes. More recently, she's taken that same all-vinyl passion to Sydney, spinning records at jam bar and Rekodo.

Molly-Pop likes a busy dancefloor and lives in an eclectic musical universe. Her record bag could take you anywhere from 50s blues hip shakers to 60s soul and Latin boogaloo, through 70s raw funk, 80s old-school hip hop, 90s golden-era classics, indie, dancehall, forgotten dance anthems and right up to a disco re-edit made last week in a shed in Scunthorpe.

For the LNADJ Vinyl Takeover at Wilderness, expect a joyful journey through decades of music, all served the way it should be: on vinyl.
