Since bursting onto the scene with their multi award-winning compilation The Stanton Sessions in 2001, the Stanton Warriors’ irresistible and inimitable sound has remained the soundtrack to some of the world’s biggest and best parties. Over the past thirteen years, they’ve rocked everything from East London warehouses, Miami boat parties and illegal Detroit raves, to the main stages of Coachella, Glastonbury Festival, Burning Man and Ultra Music Festival—selling out global tours and topping DJ lists along the way.

In the studio, Bristol’s Mark Yardley and Dominic Butler have honed a trademark, uncategorisable sound that is entirely their own yet utterly indefinable. This distinctive style has led to high-profile releases on XL Recordings, Fabric, Cheap Thrills, Central Station Records and Universal Music Group, alongside official remixes for artists including Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, M.I.A. and Gorillaz.

This phenomenal output and remarkable longevity have secured the Stanton Warriors legendary status—not only among their fans, but also among their peers. Fresh, original and relentlessly relevant, they continue to dance to the beat of their own drum while paving the way for new talent.

In 2014 alone, the Stanton Warriors topped the Beatport charts once again, inspired Disclosure’s Grammy-nominated album Settle, got Annie Mac dancing on her living room carpet, opened London’s 3,000-capacity Building Six, saw their podcast reach No. 3 in the iTunes chart, and smashed the stages of Ultra Music Festival, Supersonic Festival and Glastonbury Festival.

In 2015, the Stanton Warriors released their brand-new album Rebel Bass, featuring a host of exciting bass artists including Cause & Affect (aka Chris Lorenzo & Kane). The album reached No. 1 on the Apple Music general album chart and Top 10 in the iTunes Dance Album charts in eight countries worldwide. They also continued their sold-out tours across the USA, Europe, Australia and the Far East, collaborated with Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird Records, and delivered a slew of releases on their own tastemaker label Punks Music.
