Funk-punk, indie synth-disco crossbreed

Two Man Lift's sound is an amalgamation of analogue synthesizers, punchy drums, fat basslines and witty, self aware vocals. With influences stretching from LCD soundsystem, Hot Chip, Warmduscher to Jockstrap. These elements result in a funk-punk, synth-disco crossbreed.

Charlie Howard started the project a few years after leaving his original bass playing role in Adult DVD to move to London and has recently introduced a string of three debut singles 'Note To Self', 'Least Lame Horse' and 'Surprise Day Off'.

This sound is sculpted from demos into more realised songs with producer Tony Burrata from his Camden studio, Burrata producing and engineering and Howard writing and playing all live instrumentation. The live show is worked out with Charlie Howard on lead vocals, bass and synth, Tilda Trehy on synth, samples backing vocals and flute and drummer Reef Anslow.
