Paper Puppetry Challenge: Build + Bring a Puppet to Life

Experience what it’s like to be part of a puppetry team by making your own paper puppet + bringing it to life!

In this energetic, hands-on workshop, you'll create a simple paper puppet before learning the fundamentals of multiple-person puppetry – the collaborative art of bringing a character to life through movement, focus, and teamwork. Working together, you'll explore how even the simplest puppet can develop personality, emotion, and presence.

Once your puppet is constructed, you'll test your brand new skills via a series of super fun puppetry challenges designed to get everyone moving, communicating, and thinking like performers. Expect loads of laughter, creativity and experimentation along the way.

Whether you're completely new to puppetry or already have some experience, this is a welcoming introduction to a unique theatrical art form that combines making, movement, and imagination.

Suitable for ages 8+ – beginners, families, creatives, aspiring performers and experienced puppeteers all welcome.
