Create your own folklore-inspired pewter pendant and use your wildest imagination to feature mythical beasts, lucky charms, strange symbols and local legends.

Expect hands-on making, storytelling and a celebration of all things weird and wonderful!

Using simple mouldmaking and casting techniques, you'll create your design and transform it into a wearable pewter pendant while exploring folklore. There’ll be plenty of storytelling, creativity and fun through carving, casting and polishing your piece.

Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop offers a chance to learn the ancient craft of pewter casting, unleash your imagination and leave with a unique folk-inspired pendant.

Emma Louise Moore is an artist creating playful sculptures, performances and workshops inspired by folklore, ritual and storytelling. Her sessions celebrate imagination, hands-on making, and all things weird and wonderful.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • Suitable for ages 10+ (U16s to be supervised)
  • Wear something you wouldn’t mind getting grubby

Please note - you must have a valid festival ticket to book an experience at Wilderness.

  • Experiences will only be held for 20 minutes, after that tickets are subject to resale and will be automatically cancelled without refund.

  • For any outdoor experiences outside of the arena, unless specified otherwise on the individual booking page, please meet 15 minutes before the designated start time at the Wilderness Meeting Point where you will be met and guided to your experience.
