Journalist and podcaster June Thomas will be joined by Diarmuid Hester, radical cultural historian, writer and activist to explore the forgotten figures, radical communities and unusual venues that have shaped queer culture through the ages. From hidden spaces to feminist bookshops, via sex toy boutique, we see identities defined and question how this fits with today’s more inclusive, and yet more diffuse, LGBTQ+ communities.
