For general enquiries about the event, please contact us here. For local resident-specific enquiries or feedback, please email residents@wildernessfestival.com.

We are also operating a Resident's Phoneline. The number will be circulated by letter drop to all residents with OX7 3** and OX29 9** postcodes, and should also be available through your local council or relevant forums. If there are other local forums/groups it would be helpful for us to share information with, please send the details of this to residents@wildernessfestival.com.

The phone line will be operational:

  • Pre-show from Monday 29th July to Wednesday 31st July and post-show on Monday 5th August this will be staffed from 08:00 - 20:00.
  • During the show weekend (Thursday 1st - Sunday 4th August) this will be staffed 24 hours a day.

During the show, this is the best way for us to answer any queries directly and as soon as possible.

If you're planning to walk to the festival from Charlbury please ensure you use the Yellow Gate Entrance, off Park Street / Grammar School Hill, towards North Lodge, OX7 3EH.

This is our only dedicated pedestrian entry route and should only be used for vehicle entry by residents of the estate. You can see our maps here.

At the North Lodge gate please ensure you use the pedestrian side gate - do not try to cross the cattlegrid. There should be staff to help direct you.

Once inside the gate, there is a dedicated local / pedestrian box office located on the left of the driveway, facing Cornbury House.

Here you can exchange your mobile QR code for a festival wristband and purchase local day festival tickets, provided you present the required documentation, detailed in the above Local Tickets info.

Once you have your festival wristband, proceed up the fenced pedestrian walkway running alongside the driveway. Please ensure you use this walkway and do not walk on the driveway as this road is still used throughout the festival for exiting festival traffic and as an entrance for estate residents.

Towards the top of the driveway, where the road turns left, crossover the road and continue around the edge of Boutique Camping to the pedestrian arena entrance - again there should be staff and signage to help direct you. This will bring you into the arena next to the main Wilderness Stage.

When you come to leave the festival, please use the same route in reverse.

If you're planning to walk home in the evening, we recommend you wear bright/reflective clothing and bring a torch as there is minimal lighting along some stretches of the surrounding local roads.

Pick Up, Drop Off

If you're being dropped off / picked up from the festival please ensure you use the Green Gate, Southill Drive entrance off the B4022, OX7 3EW.

This will bring your straight to our dedicated Pick Up Drop Off area and arena entrance gate.

Parking for the day

If you're planning to drive and park at the festival for the day only, please use the Red Gate entrance off Witney Road, OX7 3DF.

This will bring you to the General Car Park where you can park and enter the festival via our South Entrance. Please note, you will require a General Car Park pass for your vehicle, this can be booked in advance or purchased on the day, card only. You will not be guaranteed the same parking space each day.

Parking for the weekend

If you're planning on driving to the festival and staying with us for the weekend please book the relevant parking pass required based on the campsite you're staying in. Full details can be found on our Your Arrival page.

If you're planning to cycle to the festival you can use any of the entrances and bike park areas below:

Green Gate, Southill Drive, Forest Road, OX7 3EW - bike park area next to the Pick-Up, Drop Off area.

Yellow Gate, North Lodge, Park Street, OX7 3EH - small bike park area just inside North Lodge Gate, on the right of the driveway looking at Cornbury House.

Blue Gate, Cranehill Lodge, OX7 3HL - follow directions for the Blue Car Park where you'll find a bike park area.

Please note, that bike park areas are fencing only that festivalgoers can lock their bikes to. Bikes are left at the owner's risk.

Please ensure you bring the relevant bike safety equipment with you. If you'll be leaving the festival in the evening we recommend you wear bright/reflective clothing as the roads near the festival are winding and, in some locations, minimally lit.

We will be running a shuttle between Charlbury Train Station and the festival from Thursday 1st - Monday 5th August. If you would like to use this, payment will be cash only so please be mindful of this.

It also means there will be limited parking at the train station on these days, particularly in the bays between the station building and the bridge and the road into the station, so again, please bear this in mind.

Closer to the festival we will update this with any key dates/timings to be aware of locally.
