Realising Your Creative Magic
from £15
The StudioWith Rich Watkins
How can harnessing our inner creative energy help transform our personal and professional relationships? What can we learn when we drop our inhibitions and allow ourselves to play? Why do we limit our access to joy in our work, lives and leisure - and what can we do about it? By blending improvisation with mindfulness, performance theory with clown, and gameplay with analytic process, participants will develop their individual creative spark and leave with a toolkit for harnessing joy in their lives and their work.
In this one-hour confidence-boosting creativity workshop, Rich and the team will establish a safe space for anyone of any ability to tap into their intuitive inner-child energy and natural creative instincts. Perfect as either a group activity or a solo endeavour for anyone looking to bring more joy and creativity to their daily routine.
Rich Watkins is a queer actor, director, writer, creative facilitator and clown. His smash-hit solo show “Happily Ever Poofter” (about the world’s first gay Disney Prince) has been performed around the world for the past seven years to critical and commercial acclaim. Rich trained in clown in Paris at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, where he learned the true joy of play.
Since 2021, Rich has been facilitating his workshop “Realising Your Creative Magic” in the UK and across Europe. When not performing and teaching, Rich volunteers with Oxfam and raises awareness for LGBTQ+ rights across the world.
