The Wisdom of the Somatic Body: Integrating Yoga Psychology for Healing
from £15
The Mindful Spacewith Dr Steph Minchin
In this educational and experiential workshop you will learn about the secret wisdom of your body and how the power to healing lies within. Expect intellectual learning, embodied movement, journaling, sharing and Q&A...! Steph will share insights from the intersection of science and spirituality, teaching you the principles of somatics, polyvagal theory, nervous system regulation and the union of mind-body connection. Steph weaves in wisdom from yogic philosophy and psychology, integrating eastern principles into our western living as she advocates for the healing powers of yoga psychology for a calm mind, strong body and open heart. The talk will be followed by movement, as Steph guides you in her signature Yoga Psychology class, teaching you practical embodied tools for somatic inquiry and self-healing, supporting you to fully experience the benefits of integrating Yoga Psychology. Reflective journaling will invite you to further deepen the wisdom of your body, and there will be space for Q&A. This workshop is a journey back home to yourself, to the somatic wisdom you already hold within! Join us, your body is calling you back home!
Dr Steph Minchin, The Yoga Psychologist and founder of House of Yoga Psychology pioneers integrative healing practices and embodied leadership, uniting body and mind for your embodiment, education and empowerment.
