Festival Voices

Sat 3rd 16:25 - 17:40

The Atrium

Formed in 2017 by creative producer Oskar McCarthy and conductor Gregory Batsleer, Festival Voices has a simple mission: to create transformative choral experiences. We believe in the power of choral music to change lives.

At our core is a professional vocal ensemble dedicated to advancing and redefining choral traditions, with a particular focus on presenting breathtaking choral works reimagined with electronic music in collaboration with producer Nico Bentley.

We performed at Wilderness 2017 and 2018, and have created multi-art performances at the Southbank Centre, London Handel Festival, Latitude and Ugly Duck, gaining a reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative and forward-thinking vocal ensembles. FV recently curated a mass choral event featuring five guest choirs and a radical reimagining of Mozart’s Requiem for the opening of Bold Tendencies’ 2024 season in Peckham. Our bold new version of Handel's Dixit Dominus is currently being performed with choreography by Doug Varone and Dancers across the USA.
