News or Nonsense? The Alt Paper Review Quiz

In an age of deepfakes, disinformation and algorithm-driven outrage, telling fact from fiction has never felt harder — or more urgent. Enter News or nonsense?, the sharp, satirical news quiz that cuts through the chaos. Hosted by journalist Serena Kutchinsky, it’s a fast-paced, witty review of the week’s weirdest headlines — from Westminster scandals to Trumpian truth-twisting and celebrity clickbait.

Each panellist brings a set of stories — some real, some fake — and with help from the audience, must decide what’s genuine and what’s pure invention. Then comes Headline Hell, where one final, absurd but real story is reworked with a brand new headline. The audience picks the winner with their cheers.
