Beloved George

The Beloved George is a vibrant Brazilian Tropicália band based in London, featuring an international lineup of musicians from Brazil, Angola, Portugal, Denmark, and the UK.

Blending original compositions with reimagined Brazilian classics, the band fuses rich Brazilian rhythms—Coco, Ijexá, Maracatu, Forró, Baião, Samba, and Bossa Nova—with contemporary influences to create an infectious and immersive musical experience.

Known for their energetic live shows, The Beloved George has built a growing and passionate following. In 2024, they performed at high-profile events including the EFG London Jazz Festival and High Tide Twickenham Festival, and packed-out venues like Peckham Levels, Grow Hackney, Jamboree, and Juju’s Bar & Stage.

The band recently released two singles—“A Pé” and “Acorelar”—available on all major streaming platforms, with more fresh releases on the way in 2025.

The Beloved George also produces and hosts the Jambu Music Jam—an interactive Brazilian music experience that invites audiences to sing, dance, and play along, reinforcing the band’s dedication to inclusivity and cultural connection through music.
