Blue Bayou

Blue Bayou are a new wave, chamber pop band with horns and strings. This is music in the fashion of Costello’s knocking knees.

In spring 2023, the group took Oxford by surprise – from thin air, they hosted and sold out a string of debut performances at The Jericho Tavern, Modern Art Oxford, and the Library. They’ve won their reputation almost solely through such “infamous gigs” (BBC Introducing).

In 2025, they release their debut singles, heading on tour for each one: February saw them play sold out bills in Oxford, Bristol, and Sheffield, in promotion of their first, December Flowers.

They are currently produced by Chris Barker (Willie J. Healey) and aided in management by Oli Steadman (Stornoway).
