When Quartets Rebel with Estilo Strings
Set time to be announced
The ForumEstilo Strings aren't your typical string quartet — they're a powerhouse reimagining modern music with fearless creativity.
Working with arranger Michelle Taylor-Cohen, they turn tracks like Karma Police by Radiohead, Umbrella by Rihanna, and Love You So Bad by Ezra Furman into thrilling new pieces. For this performance, Estilo draw inspiration from fellow Wilderness guest Joe Mulhall and his book Rebel Sounds — capturing the spirit of music as resistance, rebellion, and hope.
You may have seen them on Made in Chelsea, The Last Leg, or live with artists like Bear’s Den and Basia Bulat. With three acclaimed albums behind them and a full reinterpretation of Muse’s The 2nd Law coming soon, Estilo Strings prove that when quartets rebel, they don’t just play — they electrify.
