STENCILS AND SQUEEGEES: SCREEN PRINT A FESTIVAL FLAG

Work with ink, screen, and squeegee to print your very own festival flag – a piece of art you’ll fly throughout the weekend.

In this hands-on session, you’ll be introduced to the process of screen printing, learning how to build a design, layer colour, and pull a clean print from the screen. You’ll get to experience that real satisfaction when you lift your screen to reveal the design – your design – transferred onto fabric.

Create your own stencil or choose from a selection of original designs, then experiment with composition, colour, and placement to make something that feels like you. Keep it graphic, playful, symbolic – whatever fits your festival mood.

You’ll leave with a printed textile piece you can carry, hang, or bring back out for future festivals – a marker of your time here at Wilderness Festival 2026, made by hand.

Suitable for all ages – expect a relaxed, supportive space with plenty of guidance throughout.

Emily Lodge is a London-based illustrator and printmaker working between her studio and narrowboat home along the city’s canals. Her work spans screen printing and risograph, translating everyday moments into bold, joyful compositions.

Alongside her practice, Emily runs workshops for a wide range of groups – from private sessions to corporate clients including Norton Rose Fulbright and Accurx. She creates relaxed, welcoming environments where people feel confident to experiment, get hands-on, and enjoy the process of making.
