The Mindful Space

Candlelit Opening Ceremony

IO Project is proud to open Wilderness festival with a candlelit ceremony under the power of the Leo new moon -a cathartic, empowering session to start your festival feeling relaxed and centered, to let go of what you don’t want to carry with you into the weekend and be ready with an open heart for all the sparkly shenanigans ahead. The Leo New Moon is concerned with self-expression, and showing what's in your heart- perfect timing for a big bold colourful festival!

Using Paiste gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, shanti chimes, rain sticks, tuning forks, Peruvian rattles & percussion; as well as mantra, visualisation, breathwork and mantra. This deep dive into conscious relaxation promotes a restorative state for the mind and soul to decompress- a perfect place to set intentions & manifest ones dreams into reality. Using healing crystals like amethyst, rose quartz, watermelon tourmaline & selenite to cleanse ones chakras - guests’ energy is in perfect alignment. Finally the burning ceremony is a way of releasing the past, negativity, hurt, grudges, or regrets and focus on what is more significant to us. Connection, expansion, playfulness.

We believe that all energy is recycled. Quite simply what you put out, returns to you. It’s called Karma  – spread the good vibes, keep that positive chain going. The purpose of IO Project is to encourage you to think, feel, play & re-connect. You could call it the antidote to apathy… for adults who’ve forgotten how to play.

Created by DJ Goldierocks, having spent the last decade traveling the world touring as a DJ & broadcaster she was very familiar with the need to seek balance. Throughout her career, she’s extensively researched & created a set of personal practices & holistic routines & methods that she finds restorative. That bring back a sense of well being & calm contentment in the face of burn out & that grinding feeling of being ‘out of sorts’.

Please note - you must have a weekend festival ticket to book an experience at Wilderness.
