What do I need to book, to stay in my preferred campsite?
Your campsite ticket, is your ticket to the full festival weekend. So, before you book, it’s important that you know which campsite you’d like to stay in, so that you book all the necessary tickets / passes / accommodation required to stay there and don’t miss out. You can find our 2022 campsite locations map here. Please see below for a list of our campsites and what you need to stay in each:
Bring your own tent and set up for the weekend.
What should I book? A General Camping Ticket only.
Exclusively for those with little ones. If you’re part of a large group but are not all bringing kids, please arrive together. And don’t forget your tent!
What should I book? A Family Camping Ticket only – under 18 tickets can be added on during the booking process (max four per adult). Please make sure you book the correct ticket for under 18s based on the age they will be at the festival.
Further from the arena, for those who want a little extra shut eye. Children under eight are not permitted.
What should I book? A Quiet Camping Ticket only.
Camping not your thing? No problem, book a non-camping ticket and come and go throughout the weekend within the gate times.
What should I book? A Non-Camping Ticket only.
For those of you who want a little luxury, perks include a 24-hour reception, concierge service, a dedicated restaurant and bar, luxury toilets and showers, free pamper parlour and more.
What should I book? Boutique Accommodation (large enough for your whole party) PLUS a General Camping Ticket
Don’t fancy the faff of pitching your own tent? Meadow offers pre-pitched tents and huts but please note Meadow Tents do not come with beds / bedding and Huts come with beds only.
What should I book? Meadow Accommodation (large enough for your whole party) PLUS a General Camping Ticket
Live-In Vehicle Camping
Our only campsite that can accommodation live-in vehicles / caravans / campervans and tents.
What should I book? A Live-In Vehicle Pass (1 per 6x7m pitch) PLUS a General Camping Ticket
Exclusively for our deaf and disabled customers, this campsite is closest to the arena and has accessible facilities.
What should I book? A General Camping Ticket THEN register for the Accessibility Campsite via our application form. Please note our application form is not currently available, so please sign up to our Accessibility Mailing List and we’ll be in touch when the form is live.
If you do not book the relevant additional accommodation required for Boutique / Meadow or pass required for Live-In Vehicle Camping, then you will need to stay in our General Campsite.
If for any reason you need to switch between General, Family, Quiet or Non-Camping please contact Ticketmaster and they can arrange this for you.
Do you do coach packages?
Yes, you can take the hassle out of travelling to Wilderness 2022 and travel greener by choosing Big Green Coach’s direct weekend coach service. You can find more info here.
I’m coming to the festival with a group of friends, do you offer group discounts?
Yes, our Team Tickets option gives you six tickets for the price of five, at final release price. Team Tickets are available to book here.
When will the Instalment Plan be available to book?
Our Instalment Plans, which let you spread the cost of your booking, are now closed. If you booked via our Instalment Plan your 3 payments are split out as per the below:
Instalment Plan 1 (valid until 29th March)
First payment (+ all fees) £97 – IMMEDIATELY
Second Payment £82.50 – 31st March
Final Payment £82.50 1st May
Instalment Plan 2 (valid from 30th March to 30th April)
First payment (+ all fees) £97 – IMMEDIATELY
Second Payment £82.50 – 1st May
Final Payment £82.50 – 1st June
When will Local Resident Tickets be available to book?
Wilderness 2022 Local Tickets open for registration from Sunday 27th March, between 10am-4pm at the Charlbury Community Centre. Registration will continue, whilst stocks last, on the below dates:
- Sunday 27th March: 10am – 4pm
- Saturday 2nd April: 10am – 4pm
- Sunday 3rd April: 1pm – 4pm
- Every Sunday thereafter: 1 – 4pm (except Easter Sunday 17th April)
- Weekend tickets available to residents within the postcode OX7 3** and, new for 2022, OX29 9**
- Max 4 adult tickets per household and max 4 under 18s per adult ticket.
- All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult 18+ at all times and cannot camp separately.
- Availability is on a first come, first serve basis. We have increased the allocation available to cover the new postcode.
- As per last year, to register for tickets, you must visit the Charlbury Community Centre in person, bringing all required supporting documentation (proof of address, I.D. and request form).
- If approved, Wilderness will then email you a link to book and pay for your registered tickets through Ticketmaster.

Is there an option to Ride to Wilderness?
Yes, why not join Red Fox Cycling and extend your festival weekend into the perfect mini-break with their ride to Wilderness?
Can I buy a resale ticket for Wilderness?
Please beware of scammers and only buy or sell tickets via trusted resellers including Ticketmaster. Don’t use other third party sites, social media and unofficial resellers.
I have already booked tickets / accommodation for the festival, who do I contact if I have any queries regarding my booking?
If you need your ticket confirmation resending, to change details on your booking or have any questions relating to an existing order, please contact Ticketmaster directly, by emailing them here or via the App. Only they can answer questions to do with ticketing and bookings.

Do you offer refunds on tickets?

Can I add under 18 tickets onto my order?
Under 18 tickets can only be booked alongside an adult ticket. Simply begin the booking process then add on your under 18 tickets (max 4 per adult). If you’ve already booked your tickets and want to add under 18s on you’ll need to contact Ticketmaster – details at the top of the page.
I’ve booked an under 18 ticket for the wrong age range – can I change it?
It’s important when booking to book the right ticket based on the age the child will be at the time of the festival. Child: 0-5yrs | Junior 6-12yrs | Teen 13-17yrs. If you need to switch to an older ticket please do this when you arrive, at your campsite’s box office. An additional fee, covering the difference in ticket price, will apply.
Do you do day tickets?
With so much on across the weekend, we don’t offer day tickets to Wilderness, as we want to make sure everyone gets to experience all the festival has to offer. Why not join us for the weekend instead? Go on … you know you want to.
What provisions do you have for accessibility customers at Wilderness?
Can I visit my friends in other campsites?
Each campsite has it’s own wristband for safety purposes, so if you want to meet up with friends you can find them in the main arena where all the fun is anyway.
I’d like to come to the festival but not camp – can I do this?
If camping’s not your thing that’s absolutely fine. Simply book a non-camping ticket and use your festival wristband to come and go from the festival within our gate opening times (released nearer to the festival).
Do you have a limit on tent size?
Our General, Quiet and Family Campsites are the ones where you can bring your own tent and camp. There are no designated pitches, you just pick a spot and set up. While we do not have a restriction on tent size, to make sure everyone has a fair amount of space we do not allow trailer tents or gazebos.
Who are your approved ticket vendors?
Can I bring my own tent and stay in Boutique or Meadow Camping?
No, to stay in either our Boutique or Meadow campsites you must book Boutique or Meadow Accommodation on top of your general admission festival ticket. If you want to bring your own tent you can choose to stay in General, Family, Quiet or Live-In Vehicle Camping (provided you’ve booked a Live-In Vehicle Pass – 1 per 6x7m pitch).
