Your Wilderness 2024 Campsites

Quiet Camping

Quiet Camping will be making a triumphant return to its cherished 2022 spot - which, we hear, was our quiet camper's favourite location. As the sun sets and stars emerge, this relocation will mean that you are further away from the late-night arena, helping you to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Better still, this area has lovely flat ground, offering the ideal spot for pitching your tent and creating a cosy haven for the weekend.

Family Camping

To make camping with your little ones as easy as possible, we’ve expanded Family Camping back into its familiar grounds within one expansive field that’s just a hop, skip and a jump away from the centre of the arena and located close to the car park next door. This will be more spacious and slightly further from our late-night hotspots, helping you and your little ones to have a more peaceful night's sleep when bedtime beckons.

Live-In Vehicles

In response to the overwhelming popularity of Live-In Vehicle passes last year, and to ensure that we can give as many of you as possible the chance to bring your campervan, caravan or motorhome, we’re thrilled to unveil a brand new campsite entirely dedicated to our Live-In Vehicle campers.

Nestled within enchanting woodlands, this new field offers ample space to accommodate more live-in vehicles than ever before along with all of your desired accoutrements, whether it’s awnings, tents or even your towing car, within your pitch. There will also be a dedicated car park right next door for anyone who needs it.

While this new campsite is a tad further from the arena, fear not, for the first time ever we will be introducing our very own land train that will take campers straight from the Live-In Vehicle field right into the heart of the arena, all weekend long while the arena is open!

Grove Camping

2023 was the first year for our upgraded Grove Camping. Located next door to the arena, offering luxury loos and showers, with more per person meaning less queuing time, a dedicated pamper parlour and a 24-hour reception for everyone who booked and brought their own tent to stay there, it proved to be a resounding hit.

And so, for 2024, we’re pleased to announce that it’s expanding from its existing location, along the beautiful runway, with The Valley to the West and views of the gorgeous Cornbury House to the East. It will mean more space so that even more of you have the chance to call this idyllic spot home for the weekend.

Boutique & Meadow Camping

With all these changes afoot - don’t think we forgot about you Boutique and Meadow campers. We’re pleased to say you’re remaining right where you were in 2023. That doesn’t mean that we’re resting on our laurels though, we’re busy working away on tweaks and touches we can make to ensure your 2024 experience is better than ever. With an array of beautiful accommodation already available to book including Arena Bells and brand-new Deluxe Canvas Yurts, you will be spoilt for choice.

Accessibility Camping

Our dedicated Accessibility Campsite will also be staying put. As ever, Festival Spirit and our accessibility team will be located in the campsite all weekend and joining them, the lovely team at Child.org will be on hand on Thursday 1st August to help our accessible campers with the journey from the car to their camping pitch.

General Camping

Last, but by no means least, all this map reshuffling means that our general campers will also have more space! Which also allows us to introduce our new Groups Camping pitch upgrade - guaranteeing a spot for you and your friends together.

The Big ‘Little’ Things

We know how important the seemingly ‘little’ things are in having a big impact on your weekend with us. Read on for a sneak peek at some of the other delights you can look forward to at Wilderness 2024…

Along with all the usual extra facilities; Mr Trolley’s trollies from car park to campsite and overnight wagons for little ones, Charge Candy lockers for valuables and phone charging, and the return of our charity bar concierge service we also have a new service for 2024 - anyone staying in General, Quiet, Family and Grove Camping will be able to book a ride from the car park to their campsite in Child.Org’s Festival Taxi, with all proceeds helping to fund life-saving pregnancy support groups in Kenya.

In the arena, at no extra cost, the ever-popular Peequal returns. Alongside them we’ll be introducing our Lunar Loos - toilet cubicles with a sink inside, meaning you can clean your menstrual cup and freshen up in privacy throughout the weekend, and a series of family huts, staffed by the lovely team at Child.org, offering a private space to change and feed your little ones away from the hustle and bustle.

For those of you who fancy something a little more luxurious, When Nature Calls will also be returning, but this time they’ll be closer into the main arena, within viewing distance of the Wilderness Stage. Their Loo Lounge, complete with fresh water flushing toilets cleaned after every use, hair washing and pamper stations, is available to book now.

We're not just upping our game in the arena. In response to your feedback, we're upgrading the toilets in General, Quiet, Live-In Vehicle, and Family Camping to vacuum units, elevating your weekend experience that little bit more.
