Concious Connected Breath - Breathwork

The Mindful SpaceWith Lotte Rice
Lotte uses somatic practices to prime the body for the breath first, such as shaking, breath of joy, Himalayan Kriya, and Sufi breathing, before bringing people onto their backs for the deeper Conscious Connected Breath. CCB a therapeutic technique involving a continuous, circular breathing pattern (inhaling and exhaling without pauses) designed to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual release. By removing gaps between breaths, it shifts the nervous system from stress to deep relaxation, often triggering emotional breakthroughs or altered states of consciousness.
Lotte has been practicing yoga for 17 years, first discovering it while training as an actor at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. What began as a way to find focus and balance soon became a lifelong practice of connection between breath, body, and presence. The breath has always been such a strong part of the practice, and she became more interested in how the breath is our access point to the nervous system and therefor the subconscious mind. How it can be the tool that we use to rewrite the stories that arent working for us any more. Also a voice artist, singer, poet and actor, Lotte weaves movement, somatics and storytelling into her classes, so that they become an exploration of breath and emotion that invites students to move, feel, and discover the poetry of their own breath and bodies.
